DYNASTIES Pre-Alpha

Millionaire Lee's Bank

Upgrade materials pile up fast and clog your bag. Millionaire Lee (a DYNASTIES NPC) is your vault
and workshop for them. See Key NPCs for where to find him.

Bank your materials

  • Deposit all your loose Meteors and DragonBalls in one click — Lee packs them and stores the
    count, freeing inventory.
  • He keeps incomplete counts (deposit 16 Meteors and the vault simply reads 16).
  • Withdraw any amount back, as packed scrolls or loose items.

Scrolls and boxes — how the packing works

Upgrade materials nest, and knowing the ratios saves you a lot of bag space:

Item Worth Bag slots
A loose Meteor / DragonBall 1 1 each
A MeteorScroll / DBScroll 10 1
A MeteorBox / DragonBallBox 10 scrolls = 100 1

Boxes are the tidiest way to carry a fortune: one bag slot holds a hundred. Use one and it opens
into 10 scrolls
— so keep 10 free slots before you open it, or it will politely refuse and stay
in your bag rather than spill.

Compose upgrade fuel — what a "point" is

Hand Lee your spare plain +N gear and he melts it into compose points, then builds the plus
level you ask for out of the pool. No more juggling stacks of low-plus junk.

A point is just a +1 in disguise. Because three +N make one +(N+1), a piece is worth 3^(N-1):

Your item Worth
+1 1 point
+2 3 points
+3 9 points
+4 27 points
+5 81 points

So 27 spare +1s and a single +4 are the same fuel. Building costs the same in reverse — a +3 costs 9
points — which means melting and rebuilding is lossless, and the only thing you spend is the choice
of what to make.

Two limits worth knowing: points are pooled per equipment class (a class's helmets and armor share
a pool; weapons pool by the client's own compose rule), so fuel is not fungible across everything you
own. And Lee builds up to +4; +5 and beyond stays at the Artisan, where the real risk lives.

The Jeweler — gem crafting

  • Deposit and withdraw gems by family and tier.
  • Compose higher gems with the cost shown up front (never hidden): e.g. 15 Normal + silver → 1
Refined; 15 Refined + silver → 1 Super. The silver cost is a gold sink that keeps the economy honest.
  • The Tortoise gamble. Bank one refined gem of each of the seven other colours
(Phoenix / Dragon / Fury / Rainbow / Kylin / Violet / Moon), pay 100,000 silver, and Lee rolls
    for a Tortoise: 45% 2 Refined Tortoise · 40% 3 Refined Tortoise · 15% 1 Super Tortoise.
The result goes straight into your vault, never your bag. Lee is in the Market, so the roll opens
a reward reveal — the card reads "banked in your vault" rather than "in your
    bag"
, and the odds it prints are the ones above, read off the same table the roll used.

Held rewards (was your bag full?)

  • If a quest or event reward lands while your bag is full, it's never lost — Lee holds it for you.
  • Free a slot and choose "Claim held rewards" from his menu; he hands back as many as you have room
for, and keeps the rest until you come back.

Everything Lee does is transactional and ledger-audited — your materials are safe and dupes are
impossible. See Gear & Upgrading and The Economy & Currencies.
