Events
Events fire around the clock. Open the EVENTS button on the client's dock for a
live feed of what is on now and coming up, each with a countdown and a Join button that teleports
you in.

Monster Invasions
Every 45 minutes a swarm floods a city and everyone online defends it. It is the easiest event on
the list to take part in: there is nothing to sign up for and no minimum level — turn up and fight.
The swarm stands for 8 minutes. Beat it back inside that window and it is repelled; leave it and
it withdraws on its own. The mobs are ordinary loot, so a busy invasion is a good hour to be in town
even if you are not chasing the event itself.
Lottery
Every 15 minutes, every hero online is paid 1,000 silver. There is no objective, nothing to
click and nothing to be near — being logged in is the whole of it.
It is deliberately not announced to the world. It fires 96 times a day with identical wording, and
a banner across everyone's screen four times an hour is noise; you are simply told, in your own chat,
when yours arrives.
Lucky Hour
Roughly every six hours a Lucky Hour opens: ×1.5 experience and ×2 drops for 30 minutes,
server-wide.
It is separate from the themed bonus hour below and stacks with it — the themed hours never stack
with each other, but a Lucky Hour landing on top of a DragonBall Frenzy multiplies both. The chat
announcement gives the exact numbers and the minutes remaining, because the values are live settings
and an operator can change them.
The bonus hour rotates — and they are not the same size
One themed bonus is live at a time and they cycle in a fixed order, an hour each. The name tells you
what is boosted, and the sizes differ a lot — a DragonBall Frenzy is worth dropping everything for in
a way a Golden Hour is not.
| Hour | What it multiplies | By |
|---|---|---|
| Double XP Hour | experience | ×2 |
| Meteor Shower | Meteor drops | ×4 |
| DragonBall Frenzy | DragonBall drops | ×5 |
| Golden Hour | drop rate | ×2 |
| Blessed Drops | item quality | ×3 |
Only one is active at a time, and the previous one is switched fully off before the next starts —
they never stack with each other. Weekend Warrior is separate and does stack: all Saturday and
Sunday, ×1.5 experience server-wide.
Kylin Night
Every eight hours or so the Kylin stirs and ten golden squama appear at fixed spots out in the
field. Walk onto one to claim it — no fight, no pickup. Each is claimed once, by the first hero
there, then fades.
There is no junk prize:
| Prize | Chance |
|---|---|
| 100,000 gold | 30% |
| 2–3 Meteors | 26% |
| EXP Potion or Loot Charm | 22% |
| MeteorScroll — opens into 10 Meteors | 16% |
| DragonBall | 5% |
| DragonScroll — opens into 10 DragonBalls | 1% |
That last is the Kylin's true blessing and the whole server hears about it. Squama are also one of
the few sources outside elite and boss kills for an EXP Potion or Loot Charm.
Bring bag space. Meteors and DragonBalls do not stack, so a 3-Meteor win needs three free slots
and a scroll asks for ten before it opens. A full bag does not lose the prize — Millionaire Lee
holds it — but arriving with room is smoother.
Saturday night
On Saturday from 20:00 server time the week's flagship
World Boss stirs, once, on top of the ordinary half-hourly rotation. Most
people online, biggest crowd, best rally of the week.
Guild Beast
A guild pools 500,000 guild fund at the Beast Guard, and for the next week the Beast is released
daily at 20:45 server time (UTC — check what that is where you are) on the
guild map. Whoever lands the killing blow that day wins a DragonBall. The headline reason to be in
an active guild.
Heralds — the countdown before an event
Big events are heralded: a countdown scrolls across the top — "World Boss in 5 minutes…" →
"…in 1 minute!" → "…starting NOW!" — and a gold countdown banner appears on the modded
client, flashing when it goes live.
GMs can herald an impromptu event too ("Treasure Goblin in 5 min, somewhere in the Desert!"), so watch
the scroll even when nothing is scheduled.
Festivals
Four windows run on the real-world calendar, not on a timer. Each opens and closes with a
server-wide announcement and runs a world bonus the whole time it is open:
| Festival | Window | EXP | Drops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mid-Autumn Festival | 20–30 September | ×1.25 | ×1.25 |
| Halloween | 24 October – 2 November | ×1.25 | ×1.5 |
| Christmas | 16–28 December | ×1.5 | ×1.5 |
| Spring Festival | 20 January – 20 February | ×1.5 | ×1.25 |
The two lunar festivals move year to year, so their exact dates are set each season. GMs also run
one-off holiday events with cosmetic rewards, announced in-world and on Discord. Themed mobs, an
event currency and a festival vendor are on the roadmap.
