Spectating & Wagers
An arena match is a spectator sport. You can drop in and watch it from ringside, and — when
wagering is open — back a fighter with a few bound Dynasty Tokens. It's a flutter, not a casino.

A spectator is a non-combatant: you can't attack and can't be attacked, so there is no risk in
stepping in to look. The gallery has a size cap, so a big crowd may have to take turns.
Wager
When a match opens for betting, the server announces it:

to back a side!
/wager 12 1 50 stakes 50 Dynasty Tokens on Aldric (side 1). The stake leaves your balance immediately
and goes into the pot.

How the payout works
It's a pari-mutuel pool: every stake on a match goes into one pot. When the fight ends the house
cut comes off the top, and the rest is split among everyone who backed the winner, proportional to
their stake. The losing side's Dynasty Tokens are what pay the winners.
You can never lose more than you staked, and the pool never pays out more than went in.
Your stake is refunded in full, no cut taken, when the match produces no real result: a draw,
a one-sided pool (everyone backed the same fighter), or a cancelled or interrupted match.
The rules
- Fighters can't bet on their own match — enforced, not just discouraged.
- Bound Dynasty Tokens only. No cash-out, and no way to funnel winnings between accounts.
- Strictly opt-in. Watch without
/wager-ing and you risk nothing. - Wagering is a seasonal switch. If it's closed,
/wagersays so.
The more Dynasty Tokens on a side, the thinner each backer's share — a heavy favourite pays little, an
underdog pays well. And a one-sided pool just hands your stake back.
