PK & PvP
Open-world PvP is part of classic Conquer. Knowing the rules keeps you on the right side of the
guards — and, until level 20, out of the fight entirely.
Until level 20, nobody can kill you
Open-world PvP here has no level requirement, and dying to another player costs you a slice of the
silver you are carrying. Without a guard, a high-level red-name could sit on the starting square and
farm every new arrival. So new characters are simply not valid PvP targets.
- You cannot be attacked by other players below level 20 — melee or spells, both are refused.
- You also cannot attack other players while you are protected. That is deliberate: otherwise a
low-level character would be untouchable and free to attack, which is a worse problem than the one
being solved. - Monsters are unaffected. You still fight, still take damage, and still die to the world — that is
how you learn the game. This only covers player-versus-player. - It lifts the moment you reach level 20, on both sides. From then on the normal rules below apply.
- Arenas are exempt. Consensual PvP — a duel, an arena match, the
PK tournament — works at any level. Step into a fight deliberately and
protection does not follow you in.
| Situation | Under level 20 |
|---|---|
| Another player attacks you in the world | Refused |
| You attack another player in the world | Refused |
| A monster attacks you | Normal |
| You attack a monster | Normal |
| Duel / arena / tournament | Normal |
Where you can fight
- Safe zones (cities, market) — attacking is blocked.
- Open maps — PvP is allowed; watch your back.
- Arena / PK zones — free-for-all, the home of the ladder.
PK points
Killing non-flagged players raises your PK value. Too high and you turn red — guards attack you and
death can cost you. PK value decays over time and through play. A red or black name also loses the
protection of Soul Ward: go far enough into PK and you carry your own risk.
The ladder
The hiscores track PK alongside level and experience. Climbing the PK ladder is its own
seasonal competition.
Group up. Most open-world PK is decided by numbers, positioning and class synergy as much as gear —
see the classes guide.
Once you pass level 20 you are a full participant in the world — including its dangers. If you would
rather not fight other players at all, set your PK mode to Safe.
