Your antivirus may object — that is expected

Conquer Online shipped in 2006, and files from that era were compressed with a trick that malware later copied. Antivirus software guesses from the shape of a file like that, so it sometimes flags the game. It has not found anything inside it.

• If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info → Run anyway.
• If the game vanishes from its folder or simply never starts, your antivirus removed it in the background. That is the common one, because nothing tells you it happened.

What you're installing

• The original 4330 client, unmodified. Conquer.exe is never patched — our mod loads into memory when the game launches and is gone when you close it.
• The launcher, which updates the game before it connects and verifies each file against a published hash before replacing it.
• It arrives already pointed at our server. There is nothing to configure.

Already have a 4330 client? Take just the launcher and drop it beside your Conquer.exe.
