Skill Events — where gear doesn't decide it
In a skill event, the server levels the playing field: the moment you step in, your stats are
normalized to a fixed template, so a +12 whale and a brand-new level-15 hit exactly the same. The winner
is decided by skill and contribution — what you did, how well you dodged — never by how much gear you
own. New players don't just take part; they can win.
How it works
- Normalized. Inside the event your attack, defense, and health are set to one shared template (you'll
see a Normalized buff). Your class kit is untouched — a Taoist still casts, a Warrior still melees —
only the raw numbers are equalized, so the class triangle still rewards skill. - No power leak. The instant you leave, your real gear and stats come back. Nothing you do inside
changes the open world. - Rewards by contribution. Everyone who genuinely played past a small floor earns a bound cosmetic
Dynasty Token, scaled by how well they did. Doing better earns more — but it's never winner-take-all, and the
rewards are cosmetic, so a normalized event can never be farmed for power or market value.
The Trial
The flagship skill event is a dodge-gauntlet. You're dropped into an isolated arena, normalized, and
must survive escalating waves of exploding chickens. Each wave, more of them hunt you down — and the
moment one touches you it blows up, a fire blast tuned to your normalized health (it never one-shots
you). Don't bother fighting back: the Trial's chickens are far above any player's level and effectively
invulnerable — this is not a damage check. You survive by kiting: keep moving and never let the
swarm close. Get overwhelmed and you're out. Last the longest to top the board; everyone who survives
past the floor earns. When it ends, you're returned exactly where you were.
Pure skill, zero gear — a first-day character on the same footing as a season veteran.
