Your First Hour — The Wanderer's Road
Already logged in? You're never left to wander alone. From the moment your character is born, there's a
guided path through your first levels — and it always tells you where to go next.
Your first minutes
The village, and the Guide. You start in the Birth Village, a few steps from the Guide — and
he is worth talking to even if you have played Conquer for years. He will teach you the basics if you
want them (moving, your bag, fighting, staying alive, and what those buff icons along your bar
actually mean), but more usefully he explains what is different here: the events that run on the
world's own clock, the Marked → Fabled → Mythic ladder of rare beasts, the daily rewards and
Dynasty Tokens, achievements and titles, and this wiki. You arrive empty-handed, on purpose: the village is a tutorial, and nothing in it needs gear.
In a hurry? The ride to Twin City is one click from his first page. The tutorial is offered, never
forced.Twin City hands you everything at the gate. The first time you set foot in town, your starter
kit is already on you (a weapon for your class, armour, potions), a sealed Newbie Package of
level-15 gear is in your bag, and so is your Newcomer's Vial — drink it when you're ready to start
your 72 hours of double XP. It counts playtime, not the calendar, so there's no hurry and no waste.
See Welcome Boost. The Recruit Officer finds you. At the same moment, a task appears: Report for
Duty — seek the Recruit Officer at the parade ground, north of the plaza. (Watch the system messages: "New task
accepted…" — type /quests any time to see what you carry.) No more standing lost at the gate.Basic training. The officer walks you through three short hunts in the fields outside the walls —
a handful of Pheasants, then Turtledoves, then a final clear of the training grounds. Each one pays
experience, silver, a healing pill, and finally a Steel Blade to carry into the world.
When training ends — the Board, not a wall
Graduate, and the officer doesn't just say goodbye. He points you at the two things every soldier lives on:
- The Dynasty Board (in the plaza, beside the great coin) posts a fresh daily hunt and a bounty every day —
kill quotas and marked targets, paid in silver, Dynasty Tokens, and gear. It's where you earn your keep once the
tutorial is done. Clear its dailies and your name climbs the ladder. The longer arcs the townsfolk hand
out are on Quests. - Your daily stipend. Type /daily once a day to claim it — and keep a streak going, which grows
the reward the longer you hold it. Type /slate to see the everyday deeds the city rewards, and
/quests to track everything you're carrying.
The road ahead
The safe roads open outward as you grow: the Forest in your thirties, the Canyon north of Twin City
around level forty, and the wider world beyond. Twin City is always your gate home. Explore at your own
pace — but the Board, a full slate of quests, and good company will keep you busy the whole way up.
Handy commands:
/quests(track your tasks) ·/daily(claim your stipend + streak) ·/slate
(the city's deeds) ·/sethomeand/recall(bind a home point and jump back to it).
